Collaborative Tool

• This feature enables collaborators/instructors to interact with each other (meetings, webinars, live lecture streaming, etc)
• 100 members can interact (audio +/- video) in a single meeting room.
• You can choose your own Username but Password will be provided by the Initiator of the meeting (Lead Collaborator/Instructor)

Instructions:

For Instructor – Class meetings:
• To obtain a password, the instructor has to send an email (to lets.talk.pict@gmail.com) stating the particulars of the course, meeting start-time, meeting duration, and reason; at-least 24hours prior to the desired meeting time.
• The instructor will then receive two passwords: a mediator password, and attendee password. The attendee password has to be shared with the members of the meeting room so that they can connect.
• The meeting link shall be created in the ‘curriculum’ tab of the course mentioned in the sent email of the Initiator.
• The instructor can now commence the meeting by clicking on the given link and entering the ‘mediator password’.
• Students can join by entering the ‘attendee password’ in the link provided by the instructor.

 

For Instructor – Collaborator meetings:
• To obtain a password, the instructor has to send an email (to lets.talk.pict@gmail.com) stating the particulars of the would-be collaborators (Name, University/Corporations), meeting start-time, meeting duration, and reason; at-least 24hours prior to the desired meeting time.
• The instructor will then receive a unique link two passwords: a mediator password, and attendee password. The attendee password has to be shared with the members of the meeting room so that they can connect.
• The instructor can now commence the meeting by clicking on the given link and entering the ‘mediator password’.
• The would-be collaborators can join by entering the ‘attendee password’ in the link provided by the instructor.
